Return to You: A GIYP Healing Experience

Why Grow Into Your Power Does Not Accept Insurance

At GYIP, we honor your story, not just your symptoms. We believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all—and you deserve care that is deeply personalized, affirming, and rooted in your truth, rather than dictated by rigid insurance requirements. Our therapy services focus on radical self-worth transformation, emotional resilience, and personal growth. This means we utilize a variety of methods, including experiential therapy, self-esteem work, and embodied practices that often extend beyond the scope recognized or reimbursed by insurance companies.

In addition, all insurance claims require:

  • A formal mental health diagnosis to justify treatment—even when you're simply navigating life transitions, burnout, or emotional overwhelm.
  • Your insurance provider—not you—deciding how many sessions you’re “allowed,” what kind of care is “appropriate,” and how long it should last.
  • Sharing your private information with third-party systems, where it could be accessed later by other companies, including life or disability insurance providers.

We believe you should be able to prioritize your healing without compromising your privacy, autonomy, or depth of care.

Some insurance plans offer out-of-network (OON) benefits, where you pay upfront and request reimbursement from your insurance company. If this applies to you, we’re happy to provide a Superbill (a detailed receipt).  However, please note the risk:

  • Insurance usually still requires a diagnosis to be included on the Superbill.
  • Not all concerns (like burnout, people-pleasing, or spiritual disconnection) are reimbursed.

It is your responsibility to communicate with your insurance carrier regarding any out-of-network coverage you may have and the specifics of that coverage. In alignment with our mission to provide personalized, values-centered care, GYIP does not accept insurance. Thank you for honoring this choice with us.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE—YOUR RIGHT TO CLARITY & CARE

DISCLAIMER

We believe healing begins with transparency, trust, and choice. The Good Faith Estimate is designed to help you understand the expected costs of your care — no surprises, just support for your self-worth transformation. The estimate reflects the services we’ve discussed so far and what we currently know about your care needs at the time the estimate was created. It does not include any unknown or unexpected changes that may come up as your healing journey unfolds.

Have a question or concern? You can always reach out to us— we’re here to support you every step of the way as you undergo your individual assessments.

As we move forward, your provider may suggest additional therapy services that feel aligned with your growth. These would be discussed with you first and scheduled separately, with clear communication about any added costs. If your needs shift or your treatment plan evolves (as healing often does), we’ll provide an updated Good Faith Estimate to reflect those changes — so you always feel informed and empowered.

The estimate is not a contract between provider and client— it doesn’t lock you into care or require you to move forward with any services you don’t choose for yourself.

You have the right to take action if you’re billed $400 or more above what’s listed on your estimate.

You can:

  • Ask us to update your bill to reflect your estimate.
  • Discuss payment options or available financial assistance.
  • Start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS).

To begin a dispute, you must act within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on your original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on the Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount.

To learn more and get a form to start the process:

Call: HHS at (800) 985-3059

We encourage you to save a copy of this estimate or take a photo for your records. It’s your right to feel informed, respected, and supported throughout your care.
